Let the distance from "a "to "b" be x km

Then time of journey while going= distance/speed = (x/60)hrs.

Similarly time while returning = (x/100)hrs.

Total distance travelled=2x (going x km and returning x km)

Total time = x/60 + x/100

=(8x/300)hrs

Average speed

= total dist./total time

=2x/(8x/300)

=75km/hr

Hope u understand it.

Then pls make me know it

Answer: 75

Explanation:

S1-60km/hr ;S2-100km/hr

S1- speed 1; S2-speed 2

average speed formula is = (2xS1xS2) / (S1+S2)

by this formula

( 2x60x100) / (100+60) = 120x100/160= 75
