I strongly believe that aliens might exist and what do we know, maybe they are researching about us like how we are researching about them. There are literally millions and trillions and bazillions of planets in the whole universe. And for life forms to originate, we need a few factors like air,water,soil with nutrients for plants to grow hence, food, a vacuum,and most importantly a source of heat. There are many stars that can support many of those planets at once just like our sun supports eight.(Sorry pluto!) So,yeah,aliens might exist.It is not necessary they look like us but they exist alright. They appear based on the character of their planet. Like the gravitational force of the planet or maybe how they receive the heat.
Maybe there is a danger for their planet so they are forced to search for a new one to inhibit. So again,there is a possibility that they have evolved much faster with advanced technology to get them to our planet, The Earth. The are probably checking to see if humans would accept them or if they are required to wipe out the whole of humanity. Maybe your neighbor's an alien,or maybe the weird kid who sits in front of you is an alien,or maybe the person you have a crush on is an alien, maybe you are an alien child who is an offspring of an alien and a human who had a forbidden love experience on 14th February and boom you're here. Bottom line,they are probably walking on or below the surface of the Earth. There is a possibility for everything. What? just saying!
As for where they are,they might be in the system of a nearby star, or maybe the next galaxy.
