Let the distance of man from mirror = u

Let the distance of image from mirror = v

Given: v = 2u

As we know:

 \frac{1}{f}  =  \frac{1}{v}  -  \frac{1}{ - u}  \\  \frac{1}{50}  =  \frac{1}{2u}  -  \frac{1}{ - u}  \\  \frac{1}{50}  =  \frac{1}{2u}   +  \frac{ 1}{u}  \\  \frac{1}{50}  =  \frac{1 + 2}{2u}  \\ \frac{1}{50}  =  \frac{3}{2u}  \\ 2u = 150 \\ u =  \frac{150}{2}  \\ u = 75

So the distance should be 75 cm.
