Math, asked by ohm3, 1 year ago

a man walks 6km to the east and then turns to the south and walks 5km. again he turns to the east and walks 6km .next he turns northwards and walks 10km how far is he now from his starting point?

Anonymous: Find it's displacement not distance
saismruti: but it's asked how far he is from the starting point
Anonymous: Make its diagram then u find that base of triangle is 12 m and height is 5m.so hypotenuse = 13m.
Anonymous: Yaa how far means it's displacement
Anonymous: If u move in circular path and finally reach to ur initial point of position then how far u move= 0
Anonymous: Got it or not??
saismruti: if we move in straight line path, then???
Anonymous: Then distance = displacement
SakshiGouniyal: Yesss pushkar is right ..... the answer is 13 km....
