Speed of the man = 5 km/h

Speed of the train = 23 km/h

Net speed = 23 - 5 = 18 km/h

Convert the 35 sec into hour

35 sec = 35 ÷ 60 ÷ 60 = 7/720

Find the distance (which is the length):

Distance = Speed x time

Distance = 18 x 7/720 = 0.175 km = 175 m

Answer: The train is 175 m long.
