hanks for asking question

Solution - First of all we will find out the mass of man on the earth this can be done by using the formula : W = m×g

Here, weight of man on the earth, W = 600N

mass of man on the earth, m = ? (To be calculate)

And, Acceleration due to gravity, g = 10m s —2

Now, putting these values in the above formula ,we get :

600=m×10

so, m = 600/10

m = 60kg

Thus, the mass of the man on the earth is 60 kilograms now the mass of a body remains the same everywhere in the universe is so the mass of the man of the moon will be also 60 kilograms we will now calculate the value of acceleration due to gravity on the moon by using the same formula

W = m×g

Now, weight of man on the moon, W = 100TN

mass of the man on the moon,m = 60kg

And, Acceleration due to gravity ,g = ?

By putting these values in the above formula we get :

100= 60×g

So, g = 100/60

g = 1.66ms—2

Thus, the acceleration due to gravity on the surface of the moon is 1.66ms—2

I hope it's help you
