a man who can swim in stil
water at the rate of 10m/sec wishes to cross a river 100m wide where water is flowing uniformly at rate of 15m/sec. find the direction in which he should swim in order to cross the river in the shortest time. also indicate the position on the opposite bank where he would land after remaining in water for the shortest time.examine if it would be possible for him to cross the river by the shortest distance.giving reason,state the possibility of such an option.

10 +15=25 sec.

direction/distance travel 100-25= 175
