A man with mass 75 kg is standing with the help of 1 leg having area 20 cm then calculate the pressure on the land .
Can someone please explained it clearly

36.75 N/cm²

Explanation:

Pressure = Force / Area

Force = Mass × Acceleration

Since man is standing on ground, acceleration due to gravity is acting on him

=> Force = 75×9.8 = 735N

Area = 20cm² (Given)

=> Pressure = 735/20

= 36.75 N/cm²
