a mango falls down when the branches of the tree are shaken.why?

because of inertia as when we shake the branches the branches comes into motion but the mangoes are still in reat therefore they fall down and also because of gravity as the gravity is attracting it towards the ground

on shaking, branches come in motion but fruits tend to retain inertia of rest and fall.
