Step-by-step explanation:

Given is a3= 600

a3 can also be written as a+2d

so a+2d=600 (i)

a7=700

a+6d=700 (ii)

from (i) & (ii)

a+6d=700

-(a+2d)=-600

4d=100

d=25

By putting d= 25 in (i)

a+2(25)=600

a+50=600

a=600-50

a=550

(i) the production in first year is 550.

(ii) a10=a+9d (iii)

putting value of a and d

550+9(25)= 550+225=775

so, production in tenth year is 775.

(iii)We know that sn=n/2[2a+(n-1)d]

so Given is S7= 7/2[2(550)+(7-1)25]

=7/2(1100+150) = 7/2(1250) = 4375

Therefore, total production in seventh year is 4375
