area of a marble tile = 10*12
                                 =120cm²
area of wall = 300*400
                    = 120000cm²
tiles required = 120/120000
                      = 1000 tiles
hence, the no. of tiles required will be 1000

area of marble tile = l x b
= 10 x 12cm
= 120cm

area of  the wall = l x b                              1m=100cm
= 300 x 400                                                3m=3 x 100= 300 cm
=1,20,000cm                                              4m=4 x 100= 400 cm
number of tiles required to cover the wall =
area of the wall ÷ area of a tile
=1,20,000 ÷ 120
=1,000
∴1,000 tiles are required to cover the wall
