Here the initial velocity is 0 because the mass is in dropping state..
Now, v^2-u^2=2gh
v^2=2*10*50*100
v=√2*5*5*2*10*100
v=100√10
=100*3.16
=316m/s
And now the kinetic energy
=1/2mv^2
=1/2*10*316
=1580J
