Explanation:

kinetic energy is given by (1/2)mv^2,

to calculate velocity,

we have formula, v = πDN/60,

=> v = (π*2*300)/60,

=> v = 31.4 m/sec

therefore,

kinetic energy would be 1/2[2*(31.4)^2],

= 985.86 kg-m^2/sec^2,

= 985.86 N-m

(1 kg-m/sec^2 = 1 Newton)
