Length = 4 cm
Breadth = 2.5 cm
Height = 1.5 cm
Volume = l*b*h
= [4*2.5*1.5] cm³
= 15 cm³
Volume of 12 such match boxes = [15*12] cm³
= 180 cm³
Cardboard box,
Length = 60 cm
Breadth = 30 cm
Height = 24 cm
Volume = l*b*h
= [60*30*24] cm³
= 43200 cm³
∴ No. of boxes in 43200 cm³ box = [43200/15]
= 2880
