To calculate the amount of paper required to cover the matchbox,
We need to calculate the surface area of that matchbox with,
Length = 4cm
Breadth = 2.5cm
Height = 1.5cm
Therefore, the surface area of matchbox = 2(lb + bh +hl)
Surface area = 2(4*2.5 + 2.5*1.5 + 1.5*4)
=> 2( 10 + 3.75 + 6 )
=> 2( 19.75 )
=> 39.5 cm^2
Therefore area of paper required to cover the matchbox = 39.5 cm^2

Hope it helps you.
Thank you.
Pls do add it as brainliest if u liked it.

dontheboss2502: But the mathbox does not have 6 sides ,as two sides are opened
