A maths professor at IIT Guwahati asked one of his students to visit his house regarding some work. The student asked the professor his house number. The professor replied in a strange way:
1. If my house number is a multiple of 3, then it is a number from 50 to 59.
2. If my house number is not a multiple of 4, then it is a number from 60 to 69.
3. If my house number is not a multiple of 6, then it is a number from 70 to 79.
What is the sum of the digits in the professor’s house number?

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

It's 76 house number which is not multiple of 3 so doesn't belong to 50-59..

It's multiple of 4 so doesn't belong to 60-69...

It's not multiple of 6 so it belong to 70-79..

Sum of digits of 76 is 7+6=13 so correct answer is 13 which is option (B)...
