Step-by-step explanation:

Cost of one radio Set = Rs. 1200

Cost of 40 radio set = 1200 × 40= Rs. 48,000

money with merchant = Rs. 78,592

Money spent by her = Rs. 48,000

Money left with her= Rs. (78,592 – 48,000) = Rs.30,592

Rs. 30,592 will remain with her after the purchase.

Answer:

total money with her = 78,592

number of radio sets ordered

cost of 1 radio set = 1200

cost of 40 such radio sets = 1200×40

= 48000

money left with her = 78,592 - 48000

= 30,592
