A metal container in the shape of cylinder is open at both ends. It is 56 meter long and its thickness 0.5 meter. The outer diameter of the container is 16 meter find the weight of the cylinder if the metal is made of weight 12 kg per meter square

volume of outer cylinder = π * 8 * 8 * 56 = 11264 metre cube

volume of innder cylinder = π * 7.5 * 7.5 * 56 = 9900 metre cube

volume of container - 11264-9900 = 1364 metre cube

weight of container = 12 * 1364 = 16368kg
