Answer:

Given a metal cuboid of dimension length 22 cm breadth 15 cm and height is 7.5 cm

Then volume of cuboid =22×15×7.5=2475cm3

If we melt this cuboid and cast in the cylinder of height 14cm

Then the volume of cuboid =volume of cylinder

Let r is a radius of a cylinder

Then volume of cylinder =πr2h = 22/7 ×r2  ×14

∴ 22/7*r2*14=2475

⇒r2=  2475×7/22×14  =56.25

⇒r=7.5cm

Here the dimensions of a cube are given 22cm×15cm×7.5cm.

Also, it is given that this cube is cast into a cylinder which has a height of 14 cm

We have to find the value of radius

Now, as the cube is casted into cylinder the volume will remain the same

so, volume of cube = volume of cylinder

22 × 15 × 7.5 = πr²h

2475 = (22/7) × r² × 14

r² = 2475/44

r² = 56.25

r = 7.5

Hence, the radius of the cylinder will be 7.5 cm
