a metal cubu of9cm is melted and form into three smaller cube if the edge of two smaller cubes are 1 cm and6cm find the size of third smaller cube

is the answer is 2cm
 the big cube have edge 9cm
 the 2nd and 3rd are having 1cm and 6cm respectively
 so,
 the balance will be 9-(1+6)=9-7
                                            =2

9=6+1+x
9=7+x
x=2

then 2 will be the area of the third cube
