Answer:

gram equivalent of metal oxide = gram equivalent of metal

3.15/(equivalent weight of metal+ equivalent weight of oxygen)= 1.05/equivalent weight of metal

3.15/E.W of metal+ 8 = 1.05/E.W of metal

3.15 E.W of metal = 1.05(8+E.w of metal )

3.15 EW - 1.05 EW = 1.05 ×8

2.1E.W= 8.4

E.W= 8.4/2.1=4
