Answer:

15 kg

Step-by-step explanation:

When the pipe is 6 m long the weight is found to be 9 kg .

When the pipe is 1 m long the weight will hence be 9/6 kg

When the pipe is 10 m the weight will be 9/6 × 10 kg

⇒ 3/2 × 10 kg

⇒ 3 × 5 kg

⇒ 15 kg

Hence the weight will be 15 kg.

Find the weight of a 1m metal pipe:

6 m = 9 kg

1 m = 9 ÷ 6 = 1.5 kg

Find the weight of a 7.8 m metal pipe:

1 m = 1.5 kg

1.5 kg = 1.5 x 10 = 15kg

Answer: The 10m metal pipe will weight 15 kg.
