For outer radius

For inner radius
→ 2 × 22/7 × 2.2 × 77
→ 4.4 × 22 × 11
→ 1064.8 cm²
Now,
→ 968 + 1064.8 - thickness ...(1)
Thickness = 2π (r2² - r1²)
→ 2 × 22/7 [(2.2)² - (2)²]
→ 44/7 (4.84 - 4)
→ 44/7 (0.84)
→ 5.28
Substitute value of thickness in (1)
→ 2032.8 + 5.28
→ 2038.08 cm²
