A metal plate measuring 32cm by 12cm is cut up into small squares of side length 4cm. How many squares will be cut?

Area of metal plate=32cm×12cm
area of square =4^2 cm^2
=16cm ^2
area of metal plate =n×area of square 
32×12 cm^2=n×16 cm^2
n=32×12 /16
n=24 
24 square
