a metal rod of dimensions 180cm×120cm×100cm is melted amd recast into cubes. if the length of each cubes is 60cm . how many cubes are formed?

so
let no of cubes be n then
n*60*60*60=180*120*100
n=10

volume of rod =l*b*h
= 180*120*100
=2160000cm^3
volume of cube=l^3
=60^3
=60*60*60
=216000cm^3
therefore number of cubes = volume of rod/volume of cube
= 2160000/216000
=10
therefore 10 cubes are formed
