Answer:

226.28 cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Radius of cone= 5cm

Height of cone= 8cm

Slant height= √r^2+h^2 = √5^2+8^2

                   =√25+64 = √89 =9.4

Surface area of cone= πr^2+πrl=22/7*5^2+22/7*5*9.4

                                  =22/7*25+22/7*5*94/10 = 78.57+147.71

                         Ans.  =226.28 cm^2

Radius of metallic cone = 5 cm

Height of metallic cone = 8 cm

Volume of cone = \frac{1}{3}\pi  r^{2}h

                          = \frac{\pi*5*5*8 }{3}

Volume of sphere = \frac{4}{3} \pi r^{3}

∵ Volume of cone = Volume of sphere

\frac{5*5*5*8}{3} = \frac{4r^{3} }{3} \\\\r^{3}= \frac{25*8}{4} \\ \\r =\sqrt[3]{50}

Surface area of sphere = 4πr²

                                      = 4*\pi *3.6*3.6*3.6

                                      = 585 cm ² (approx.)
