length of cuboid , l = 60 cm

breadth of cuboid, b = 40 cm

height of cuboid, h = 20 cm

volume of cuboid = l × b × h = 60 × 40 × 20 = 48000 cm3

side of each new cube, s = 2 cm

volume of each new cube = s3 = 23 = 8 cm3

the number of cube that can be made up of the cuboid= volume of (cuboid)/volume of each new (cube)

= 48000/8

= 6000 cubes
