a metallic cylinder has radius 3 cm and height 5 cm to reduce its weight a conical hole is drilled in the cylinder the conical hole has a radius of 3/2 cm and its that ate 8/2 cm calculate the ratio of volume of metal left in the cylinder to the volume of metal taken out in the conical shape

if 8/2 is height of cone then ratio is 14:1

If your answer is 16:1 then the process will be as given below :-
And if your answer is 14:1 then just subtract the volume of cone from the volume of cylinder and then find the ratio.
