A metallic sheet is of rectangular shape with dimensions 52cm x 48cm.from each corner, a square of 5cm is cut. An open box is made of the remaining sheet. Find the volume of box.

Given height=8cm

given that each one of its corners a Square of side 8 cm is cut of then the

length l = 48-(8+8)= 48-16= 32cm

breadth=36-(8+8)=36-16=20cm

we know that volume = l* b*h*

=32*20*8

=51205120m^3.
