Given,

Radius of the metallic sphere is = 21 centimetres

Diameter of the wire is = 0.5 centimetre

To find,

The length of the wire.

Solution,

First of all,we have to calculate the volume of the given spherical ball by using the following mathematical formula,

Volume of spherical ball = 4/3 × π × (radius)³ = 4/3 × π × (21)³ cm³

So,the volume of the metal wire will be also 38808 cm³.

Let,the length of the wire = l cm

[ Assume, l as a variable to do the further mathematical calculations.]

Radius of the wire = 0.5/2 = 0.25 cm

Volume of the wire = π×(0.25)²×l cm³

Now,if we compare the volume of the wire and the spherical ball,we will get the following mathematical equation,

π × (0.25)² × l = 4/3 × π × (21)³

(0.25)²×l = 4/3 × (21)³

0.0625 × l = 4/3 × 9261

l = 4/3 × 9261 × 1/0.0625

l = 37044/0.1875

l = 197568

Hence,the length of the wire is 197568 centimetres.
