we here ..,, use. volume because the material is getting moulded or recasted into another shape .. and that is the volume of the material...

here is your answer..

.Radius of sphere = 4.2 cm, radius of cylinder = 6 cm

Volume of sphere

=43πr3=43πr3

=43π×4.23=43π×4.23

Volume of cylinder

=πr2h=πr2h
=π×62×h=π×62×h

Since volume of cylinder = Volume of sphere

Hence, height of cylinder

h=4×π×4.233×π×62h=4×π×4.233×π×62

=2.744 cm
