volume of sphere = volume of cone
4/3πr^3=1/3 πr^2h
1/3 π cancle from both side
then,
4×6×6×6 =r^2 × 24
r^2 =6×6
so , r=6 cm

Dear Student,
◆ Answer -
r = 6 cm
● Explanation -
Given that metallic sphere is melted and recast into cone.
volume of sphere = volume of cone
4/3 πR^3 = πr^2.h/3
4 R^3 = r^2.h
4 × 6^3 = r^2 × 24
864 = r^2 × 24
r^2 = 864 / 24
r^2 = 36
r = 6 cm
Hence, the radius of the base of the cone is 6 cm.
Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...
