Answer:

Given:

l = 0.625m

R = 4 ohm

Resistivity = 4.8x10^-7 ohm m

To Find:

Area of cross section (A)

Solution:

A = (Resistivity x l)/A

A = (4.8 x 10^-7 x 0.625)/(4)

A = (4.8 x 0.625)/(4 x 10^7)

A = (1.2 x 0.625)/(10^7)

A = (0.75)/(10^7)

A = (75)/(10^7 x 10^2)

A = 75 x 10^-9 sq.m
