Answer:

DONT FORGET TO MARK BRAINLIEST

Step-by-step explanation:

R= 2 AND r IS 2.2

INNER CSA=2*PI*R*H=768cm*2

OUTER=SAME FORMULA(2*PI*r*H)=1064.8cm*2

tsa= outer + inner +(4/3 *pi* r*3-R*3)

Given:-

  • A metalpipe is 77cm long the inner diameter of a cross section is 4 cm the outer diameter being 4.4cm.

To find:-

  • find its inner and outer csa and tsa.

Solutions:-

  • Inner radius of cylinder pipe = 4/2 = 2cm
  • Outer radius of cylinder pipe = 4.4/2 = 2.2cm
  • Height of cylinder pipe = length of cylunder pipe = 77cm

CSA of the inner surface of pipe = 2πr1h

= 2 × 22/7 × 2 × 77

= 2 × 22 × 2 × 11

= 968cm²

CSA of outer surface of pipe = 2πr2h

= 2 × 22/7 × 2.2 × 77

= 2 × 22 ×2.2 × 11

= 1064.8cm²

TSA of pipe = CSA of inner surface + CSA of outer surface + area of both circular ends of pipe.

= 2πr1h + 2πr2h + 2π[(r2)² - (r1)²]

= 968 + 1064.8 + 2π[(2.2)² - (2)²]

= 2032.8 + 2 × 22/7 [4.84 - 4]

= 2032.8 + 2 × 22/7 × 0.84

= 2032.8 + 5.28

= 2038.08

Hence, the total surface area of the cylinder pipe is 2038.08cm².
