Answer:

Explanation:

meteors are burning up in the mesosphere. The meteors make it through the exosphere and thermosphere without much trouble because those layers don't have much air. But when they hit the mesosphere, there are enough gases to cause friction and create heat.

Explanation:

Burning of Meteors:

This is an awesome phenomenon that occurs most of the times, and hence saves the earth from a magnificent destruction. The meteors are small chunks like celestial bodies which are found in the solar system other than sun & planets. They revolve around the sun.

The outer most space is complete vaccum and don't have air. But, as soon as the meteor enters into the atmosphere, it comes in contact of air which is present under high or low pressure depending upon the layer of atmosphere.

The air causes air resistance or friction and due to this, these small rocks burnt in the atmosphere itself. We know that, Friction give rise to heat. They also compress the small rocks and they burnt completely before reaching to the earth's surface and hence saves us.

Explore the space:

Ours is a big family, the family of the Sun. Named after it, Our Solar system. It consists of Sun, and 8 smaller planets, moons and other small celestial bodies. So, let's know about them,

Asteroids are small rocky bodies that resembles planets. They are also known as planetoids or minor planets.

The Asteroids are mostly found in the kuiper belt, the gap between the Mars and the Jupiter.

Meteroids are smaller than Asteroids, and they usually burn up when they enter the Earth's atmosphere.

Meteor is the meteroid that enters the earth's atmosphere and Meteorites are the meteors that come near to the surface of earth.

Comets are small bodies made up of ice and dust. They have a long tail trailing behind. They are very small and can be visible when they are near to the sun
