If the solid is recasted in any other solid the volume remains the same.

So,

Volume of sphere = Volume of cylinder

•4/3πr cube= 2πr square ×h

4/3×22/7×42/10×42/10×42/10 =

2×22/7×6×6×h

h= 98.784/36

H=2.744

Answer:

Let the height of the cylinder be h cm

Then,

Volume of the cylinder =volume of sphere

\pi \times  {6}^{2}  \times h =  \frac{4}{3}  \times \pi \times  {4.2}^{3}  \\ h =  \frac{4 \times 4.2 \times 4.2 \times 4.2}{3 \times 6 \times 6}  \\ h =  4 \times 0.7 \times 0.7 \times 1.4

h=2.74

the height of the cylinder is 2.74 cm
