Answer:

Length of metro train is 140 m and platform length is 120 then total distance is 260 so that it took 13 second to cross that 260 metre.

The distance and time formula is,

speed=distance/time

speed=260/13=20 meter/sec.

Now that train have to cross 180 metre platform this time distance would be 140+180=320 meter.

Therefore,

time=distance/speed

time=320/20

time =16 seconds.

scienceperson: ok
scienceperson: a truck 10m long enters three tunnels with lengths 170m,158m and 210m and exits through the other end after 14.4s,7.4s and 35s respectively.what is the average speed of truck in km/h
upadhyaybadrish: speed is distance/time then each time speed would be 11.8 m/sec,21.4m/sec and 6 m/sec.
scienceperson: but at the back of my book the answer is coming 36km/h
upadhyaybadrish: when you change it through m/s to km/h it will be 36km/h
scienceperson: ok
scienceperson: pls can you solve and tell
upadhyaybadrish: ok wait.
scienceperson: yeah
