Given :Milk-man has 300 litres of milk at a rate of rs.19/lit.

Cost of 300 lts milk = 300x19=Rs.5700.

Amount of milk after adding 200 liters of water=300+200=500lts.

He sold 400 liters for Rs. 20/liter.

Selling price of 400 lts milk = 400x20=Rs.8,000.

Remaining amount of milk = 500-400=100lts.Amount of water added = 10 lts.

Amount of milk after adding water=110lts .This he sold for Rs.15 per lt.

Selling price of 110 lts = 110x15=Rs.1650.

Profit= Selling price - cost price

Profit =(8000+1650)-5700.

Profit=9650-5700

Profit=Rs.3950.
