volume of the cylinder = πr²h
= 22/7 × 1.5 × 1.5 × 7
= 22 × 1.5 × 1.5
= 49.5m³
we know that 1m³ = 1000 litres
therefore 49.5m³ = 49.5 × 1000
= 49500 litres
hence, quantity of milk that can be stored in the cylindrical tank is 49500 litres.
