Answer:

The pH of fresh milk is nearly 6. Baking soda is sodium hydrogen carbonate or Sodium bicarbonate. On adding it to fresh milk, the medium becomes alkaline and its pH therefore increases.

Answer:

Baking soda is a base which reacts with acids and neutralizes it. This prevents milk from getting sour and keeping it fresh for long time. It's pH changes from6.5-6.6 to 4.5 -5.5

Hope it help you ✌️❣️
