Nothing happens because milk is slight acid so when base react it remains the same

When milkman adds baking soda to milk then the acids present in milk which turn the milk into curd are neutralised by baking soda. It means that the milk becomes basic. As the milk becomes basic so it means that it's ph is increased.

Because we know that higher the hydronium ion concentration lower the ph. Here, hydronium ion concentration has been reduced so ph will increase.

leikhabasha: no...since milk is acidic. ..adding a pinch of baking soda shifts the pH slightly to alkaline level...so that it doesn't turn sour easily!!
