A milkman earns profitof 20 rupees on every litre of milk he sells and losses 30 rupees on every litre that is not sold(i)If one day he sells 18 litres of milk and is left with 7 litres of milk unsold then what is the profit or loss (ii)If he niether gains or nor loses and does not sell 6 litre of milk, how many litres of milk have been sold​

Loss=30rupees on every 1 litre of milk, which is not sold.

(I) He sells 18 litre therefore,

profit gained by him=20×18= 360 rupees

Loss made by him=30×7=210 rupees

(ii) Here we know that profit=loss

so, if he didn't sold 6 litre milk so he will make loss of 30×6 rupees that is 180 rupees

therefore profit=180 rupey as profit= loss

so how many liter did he sold= ?

=180/20

=9 litres
