Case1:
SP of 1st buffalo = rs. 20000
Gain%= 5%
Let the CP be x
Then gain = 5% of x
=x/20
CP plus GAIN = SP
x plus x/20 = 19x/20
19x/20=20000
x=20000*20/19
=19000
Therefore its CP = 19000
Case2
SP of 2nd buffalo =20000
Loss %= 10%
Let the CP be x
Loss = 10% * x =x/10
Therefore, x - x/10=20000
=>9x/10=20000
=>x = 20000 * 10/9
=>22,222.22
Cp will be Rs. 22,222.22
SP of 1st buffalo = rs. 20000

Case2

Loss %= 10%
Let the CP be x
Loss = 10% * x =x/10
Therefore, x - x/10=20000
