on the first one sp is
105/100×20000=21000
on the second sp is
90/100×20000=18000
cp=40000
sp=39000
loss%=1000/40000×100=2.5%

harsh8946: the answer is wrong
harsh8946: correct answer is 1 26 9.84
harsh8946: in our book maths of NCERT
haribol1234p9zix3: cp of first clw = 100/105×20000=19047.62. on the other cow = 100/90×20000=22222.22. total cp =41269.84. cp(41269.84)-sp(40000)=1269.84

♠️How??

\implies\sfBuffalo = Rs 20000

\implies\sfThe milkman gain of 5% for selling one buffalo

\implies\sfThat means if C.P = Rs 100

S.P = 105.

C.P. of one buffalo = \bf\frac{2000 * 100}{105}

\implies\sf Rs 19,047.62

Second buffalo was sold at a loss of 10%.

If C.P = 100, then S.P = 90.

C.P. of other buffalo = \bf\frac{2000 * 100}{90}

\implies\sfRs 22222.22

Total C.P. = Rs 19047.62 + Rs 22222.22

\implies\sfRs 41269.84

Total S.P. = Rs 20000 + Rs 20000

\implies\sfRs 40000

Loss = Rs 41269.84 − Rs 40000

\implies\sfRs1269.84
