Dear Student,

◆ Answer -

3 mol of N2 are later added

● Explaination -

Let V be volume of cylinder and T be temprature.

Initially, total moles of gases = 2 + 1 = 3 mol.

PV = nRT

PV = 3RT

P = 3RT/V

Later x moles of N2 are added to mixture. Here, P'=2P & n'=x+3.

P'V = n'RT

2PV = (x+3)RT

Substitute P = 3RT/V,

2 × 3RT/V × V = (x+3)RT

6 = x + 3

x = 6 - 3

x = 3 mol

Therefore, 3 mol of N2 are later added to container.

Thanks dear...
