A mixture of gases contains 4.76 mole of Ne, 0.74 mole of Ar and 2.5 mole of Xe. Calculate the partial pressure of gases, if the total pressure is 2 atm. at a fixed

= 4.76/8

= 0.59

mole fraction of0.74 mole of Ar = 0.74/8

= 0.09

mole fraction of 2.5 mole of Xe= 2.5/8

= 0.3

partial pressure  of Ne = 2*0.59

= 1.18 atm

partial pressure  of Ar = 2*0.09

= 0.18 atm

partial pressure  of Xe = 2*0.3

= 0.6 atm
