A money 720rs divided to two mens ,5 womens and 8 childrens in the ration 3:2:1 that how much got each one

as the ratio is 3:2:1 , lets consider the amount as 3x, 2x and 1x

the total parts are 3x+2x+1x=6x

the value of x =

6x =720

⇒ x=120 then

the amount received by the men = 3x = 3 × 120 = 360rs

but there are 2 men, so the amount each man got = 360/2 = 180rs

the amount received by women = 2x = 2 ×120 = 240rs

but there are 5 women,so the amount received by each woman = 240/5 = 48rs

the amount received by children = 1x = 120rs

but there are 8 children, so the amount received by each child = 120/8 = 15rs

therefore each man got 180rs, woman got 48rs, child got 15rs respectively

:. 3x + 2x+ 1x=720
= 6x =720
= x= 720/6
= x=120

two men got 5x = 5× 120 = 600

women got 2 × 120= 240
