Let the unknown value of ratio be x and so,
1(5 x) + 2(6 x) = 85
5 x + 12 x = 85
17 x = 85
x = 5.

Then no of two rupees coin = 6 (5) = 30 coins.

The answer is given below :
The ratio is 5 : 6
Let, the common ratio be x.
Then, 1 rupee coins are 5x and 2 rupee coins are 6x in numbers.
So,
5x one rupee coins = Rs 5x
and
6x two rupee coins = Rs 12x
Then,
5x + 12x = 85
=> 17x = 85
=> x = 5
Therefore, the number of one rupee and two rupee coins are 25 and 30 respectively.
