A monkey of mass 20 kg. is holding a vertical rope. The rope will not break when a mass
of 25 kg. is suspended from it but will break if the mass exceeds 25 kg. What is the
maximum acceleration it which the monkey can climb up along the rope? (g = 10 m/s2)

Answer:

ATQ the breaking force of rope is 25 x 10 = 250 N therefore the maximum force can monkey apply on the rope will be 250 N

Hence,   F = M X a

              250 = 20 x a

              12.5 m/s2

hope this helps love
