A monochromatic light passes through a glass slab of refractive index 3/2 of thickness 90 cm in time t 1. If it takes a time t 2 to travel the same distance through water of refractive index 4/3. The value of t 1 - t 2 is

(2) 5×10^-10s
(3)2.5×10^-10s
(4)2.5×10^-8s

answer=(4/3)(10/8)

frequency is constant, whereas speed is directly proportional to wavelength
